Women's Bible Study

Now that the land of Canaan has been apportioned to the 12 tribes, we will study  the Cities of Refuge and the Cities of the Levites in Joshua 20 & 21 and discuss what greater truths these cities point toward and what they reveal to us about the character of God. Then in Joshua 22 we will study how conflict arises and is resolved as 2 1/2 tribes return to their land west of the Jordan.

Our memory work will be from: Joshua 21:44b,45 (NKJV) Not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.

Once again, resources to aid in your personal study (and journalling) as well as our group study are the study guides (attached), maps (attached) as well as our book "Outlines on the Book of Joshua", outlines 12 and 13. Another excellent resource is a free online workbook which contains good questions that strive to illustrate that Scripture is living and active and that God reveals Himself to us through it. The link is:https://www.jenwilkin.net/resources-for-download/.  Scroll down to the workbook on Joshua and pages 69-77 are the relevant pages for our next meeting.
